Stunning fillies....my favorite is the one with the marked face, she was the one that caught my eye when she was still little with her AWESOME trot and the way she holds her head, just magnificent! The other girl seems to like to run more with her head pointed full speed ahead....just LOVE them! Own a half arabian myself and he just is a looney old man.
Yes, they sure are ... they're coming up on 2 years of age, and doing awesome!! They've just been sold to Castle Creek Farm ... an EXCELLENT home for these girls!
Adorable babies foals I love them & as far as I am concerned I like My Arabians too be like the Crabbett horses 14.2 or 3 no taller since I am only 5'2" I've had arabians since '82 I just lost My Arabian Mare that we owned from age 6 to 32, long time but she was Beautiful gosh I miss her :) After I lost her in 07 I swore that I wouldn't get back into horses but I am getting the itch for it again but also know I'm getting too ole:) so I'll just watch from a distances:)
TKS. numberonehorse that's nice for you too say! Was just checking my mail & saw your reply! After church today one of the gals from church her & her husband just bought an 23 yr. old gelding that this lady just wanted him too have a good home she got him lets just say dirt cheap anyway she invited me out after church today and he's really neat! He's a qtr. horse, I prefer Arabians, but her other one is an Arabian anyway it was nice being around horses again!! :)dj
That's amazing! We love horses, and we bond, or think we can bond, with just one but more than one can always touch your heart in the same or slightly different ways. We won't forget the ones from the past and what they taught us, but they'd want us to move forward and learn even more from the next generation and continue to have fun doing it. I'm really glad they made a great impression on you and I hope you decide to bring yourself back into owning one.
The girls are doing so well, and they had a FABULOUS birthday ... I shredded two carrots, one apple, and mixed it all in with some molasses, and put it into their feed bin. They LOVED IT!!
I won't know for sure until about their 2nd year, as our vet is telling us, but a rough guesstimate will be that of about 14.2 - 14.3. I'd say taller, due to the height of their sire, but because they were born as twins, I'm not for certain if they'll reach much taller heights. They certainly aren't stunted though ... they're very proportioned and eat everything in sight!!
what funny girls, the youngest we have is almost 3 year olds, haven't had babies for a little while, hehe. What breedking are they, by the names Im guessing eqyptian? but I could be wrong. :)
Not Egyptian. I didn't name them for anything relating to their breed strain. Named them after their sire and dam, with the LA on the front (Laurel Arabians). They are more Polish than any of the strains (over 50% Polish).
YES, they do!!! They want to be where the other is pretty much all the time. They trot alike, and have very similar personalities ... LOVE their humans!!!
Well they're a bunch of cute little horses, aren't they? Are they FOALS or yearlings? Because they look a little big to be foals... and they're legs aren't as skinny as foals are. See, if they're over 12 months old then they're yearlings. But, they were all very beautiful! That was a very good video. Do you do many horse videos?
No, these girls are not yearlings; they were born March 20th of 2007, they are considered to be weanlings (for the proper term of their age group). A weanling or a suckling can be termed "foal", these girls have been weaned from their momma, so they are weanlings (or can be called foals). This video was taken in November, so they are 8 months old in this video. : )
adorable! I love the really dark one! I'm not sure if she is black so I will just say darker one. :)

Just currious, do the twins have any special bond? I was just wondering since human twins sometimes have a special bond, if horses did as well.
