Holding onto your race is idiotic, it promotes your self-ego, which is the direct opposite of what those sages, confucious, bodhisattvas, and Buddhas had tried to teach. Also bodhisattvas are a uniquely Chinese phenomenon, and partly because Chinese people refused to believe that humans were completely material
@Mannwichsandwich1 Well, tell that to the Europeans. They hold onto their language as if it were their souls. They would never allow their countries to be infiltrated by Chinese/Indian/Muslim terminologies. Even English is a problem in France and German, they cannot prevent fancy terms like "internet", "business", "skill" etc, but try to watch an American movie or sitcom in English... they are all dubbed. And Germany has no sages. But is has Christian saints, so all sages are saints (Heilige).
@lodproductions90 Those who are ready to learn will learn, those who are not will not understand, but its a waste of time, albeit an entertaining waste of time. Vices of humans transcend race. There are always people who want to understand, and those who hold their values to be set in stone
@Mannwichsandwich1 I believe that many Ancient cultures have disappeared this way: their very unique and special terminology has just been eradicated. Ask the victors, they couldn't care less. What's lost is lost and gone forever. People who do not speak English are considered second class world citizens. Actually, they maybe not even considered world citizens at all. Just citizens. So, who cares about lost Chinese words. :-(
@lodproductions90 I don't think that's true at all. Cultures represent unique was of human thinking. If a culture is metaphysical, it will persist in human thinking forever. If it is material then it will perish as all things do. Special terminology is just what it is terminology. Language is a medium of communication, if it fails to express an idea adequately another will take its place. In This World there is no victor or loser, but only those who think they have lost or won.
@Mannwichsandwich1 There are so many ideas I wish I could express to you, but I don't think you are ready to learn yet. However I will say this: the idea of being superior or inferior is ill conceived. Everything is made of matter. If I were to decompose you, you would be made of the same things as a person of another race. What I'm trying to say is that everybody is the same, but those who don't understand this will not only suffer but make others suffer. Think. Contemplate. Meditate. Dhamma
@Mannwichsandwich1 Oness... everybody is the same. Sounds beautiful. So different from Christianity, in which, after suffering, the Holy Spirit is understood and transforms the believer into a warrior of justice that will drive evil out of the holy lands and bring the word of God to the heathens.
@Mannwichsandwich1 "It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure."
@KillBaddBugz The "context" was directed toward the insentient nature of your extensive commentary here, which illustrates a mentality of science without soul. So yes, it is fitting that the logic would escape you.
Well done friend. i could only add this: That it also be noted that The Brit Imperialists also had exerted an infamous implementation of control of language regarding dictionaries...i.e. Merriam Webster, New Oxford, any other ABRIDGED, and the like. You of all people, friend, are quite aware also, I have no doubt regarding all of the worldwide tragedies that have been, and continue to be executed in the name of "religion", which could be more rightly categorized as religious fervor, or "Zeal".
I like this video. Seems like a great discussion about how the west has been so influential up to this point by bombarding nations through their imperialism.
have you heard about the european mummies found in pyramids in china dating back thousands of years? Wise men were very much revered in the prechristian culture of germany and europe.
@TheVikingNinja Yes, you are right, wise men very revered in prechristian culture of Germany and Europe. Then came Plato and the philosophers and started to attack the "sophists" (sages). Later came Jesus, son of God. No one was wiser than Jesus, and highest wisdom was with God. So, that was the end of the sages in Europe. No more career options, haha. ;-)
@lodproductions90 ... the desertreligions have undermined the hyperborean cultures...the EU Bureaucrats are right now on their final cursade against the native European people... btw ... at the last bilderberg meeting in switzerland there was the supposedly a chinese delegation there (incl. Fu Ying vice of foreign affairs). keep an eye on unusual events in China. take care :)
@FINISUNIVERSI A-hah! LOL Those cultures are but pure mythology, friend, and you should know this. hheehe- The Greeks have been left far behind in those myths, and all that remains are the solidified through test and time...the scientific principles and the philosophical theories only. LOL Hyperborean. X D
@KillBaddBugz ...hyperborean is an old greek term to describ people living beyond the north wind. Runis of an ancient culture have also been found on the bottom of the north sea.

Asia Times has an interesting article on Language Imperialism. The West calls the names, sadly.
