I've just come back from a trip to the battlefields with Notre Dame in Belgium and France that inspired him to write this song (he went on the trip when he was my age) and I know what he is talking about. It is a really emotional place. If you ever get chance to go to the battlefields of F&B do go. It will change your lives forever. Especially at the point where the Somme offensive started on July 1st 1916. Moving stuff.

Doubt it mate, ain't lead singer at Uni and 2 of the other have a new band called "Backhanded Compliments" and one of them has joined Reverned and the makers too I believe

Doesn't mean it's not possible, look at The Last Shadow Puppets two different bands come together to make a new one. (or in this case reunite one)

Joe Green, the drummer is in 2 bands - The Backhanded Compliments and The Book Club. Joe Carnall is in The Book Club and so is Louis Carnall... the bass player isn't Joe Carnall anymore, it's Andy Nicholson (ex Arctic Monkeys bass player)

Tom Rowley is the guitar player for the Backhanded Compliments and Reverend and the Makers.

I'd say the band band out of the three is The Book Club.. they're just like Milburn :)

amazing effort.. very skilled...although i don't like the actuall whistle being blown through the song....not in the normal song...looses effect..but other than that great 9/10
