  • @deloreandmc88

The Russian Govt. runs some famous number stations too.

  • 99.9% of what you hear in "EAM"s from US are drills or "keep freq open" messages. The real stuff is data transmission that must be decoded with computers.

  • Interesting recording; I wish now I had on tape a lot of the 'traffic' I copied as an SWL back in the 80's, before SAT COMMs became the norm and before encrypted HF comms became standard.

A 'fave' frequency to monitor back then was 10.243 MHz, where EAMs to SKYBIRD (SAC B-52's) flights were a regular occurance.

  • Kinda Scarey!!!

  • Whoa! Easy there tiger. What you said didn't really make much sense in the context of shortwave radio. It sounds distorted because the BFO is being induced by a second radio (foreground). If you think this is 'fake' why don't you look elsewhere on the internet for similar? Or just buy a radio yourself and tune 4724, 6739, 8992, 11175, 13200 or 15016 khz. Of course, you need patience too.

  • Wow, that guy was wayyyyy off!

  • You need to CAPTCHA a brain, boy.

  • Seriously? Have you never heard of a "radio" before?

  • SWEEET!!!

    Kinda cool to hear it.
