I'm trying to put Drew McIntyre's new Tron into WWE Raw for PC, and when I open up RAD Tools and try to "Bink" the video, it gives me a message, "Error opening file!" What is going on?!

Hey guy. i think ur video or what ever u call this is fine but i still didnt get the thing what i was looking for. How to use BIK files in Windows movie maker so i did my own video about it. i thank u alot of Rad video tool thing. Ur sites are cool too. Sorry if i copyed ur video wich i didnt do but i gues my video migth be easier to those people who just want to edit Bik files. If im wrong please send me a message. I think my video is simple and it works but if u find something wrong about it

I extracted the IronMan PS2 Game DVD and found a Bik File, so they must be used ..., looked it up and here I am.

Not used anymore? How come these are in a brand new game coming out May 20th, 2008? Age of Conan. They're used for intro videos, AKA Intel Inside, Nvidia, etc.

Hmm easy way: get a screen recorder or 3d recorder like Fraps.exe open the movie in the game and start reconrding it ! careful not all record in the game,Fraps work for sure !

yeah this really helped me bik is pretty old file format i was extracting some out of C&C yuri's revenge and renegade to watch and put into a project thanks alot for the info mate

This video help'd me, I have a project today, I'm extracting all my games to a large Resource folder. I already got there all QuakeWorld games such as ET, HL, CS, JK2. Currently I have extracted .gcf .bsp and .pk3 files. BF1942 and MP2 includes these so called Bink files and now I found what I searched.

the BIK/BINK file is actually very unreliable, apparantly. They're in Deus Ex Invisible War, so yeah, it's an old format that's not really used anymore.

Odd, I was just copying some game files today and saw a bik file, thinking to myself "what the hell is a BIK file...?". Nice to know.
