to tell you the truth NC Soft sucks. i used to play city of heroes/villains and they never put in new patches, hardly any players after the first year, its bad.. not worth paying per month if they never improve. they just make new games and tell the old ones to rot in a hole.

this game was awesome, although i didn't play it so much, i remember playing it back in 06 and it was fucking epic, coming to this video and seeing it makes me sad how ncsoft never put any effort to advertise it

actually, im pretty surprised that no one has set up a private server- sure its illegal, but since NC soft's right to the game was removed, i wonder if someone will set up a server...

to be honest, im beginning to hate NC, they dumped this game in an instant (and this was most deffinetly one of the best games ever devised), trashed Tabula Rasa (again, good game, and one of about 5 MMOFPSs, including auto assault, planetside, WW2 online, and the new post apacalyptic one), all in defense of their CoH/V game, which they keep up NO MATTER WHAT, even though the game is OK, not nearly as good as either of the former, and is a HUGELY USED and unorigional idea. I miss auto assault...

It never had enough subscribers. It had a dedicate fanbase, but it wasn't enough to keep it afloat in NCSoft's eyes.

I'll never forget the last day on the server, it was so much fun. GM's giving out the best cars in the game, tons of money to everyone, the best weapons, leveling you to 80 so you can just mess around the whole day. Sigh, I really do miss AA quite a bit still. One of my favorite MMO's. To bad NCSoft didn't let Netdevil keep the game running like they wanted to.

A Tear for the best damn MMO I ever played, aside from its obvious pvp/pve balance flaws, which never seemed to get resolved. I played from the beta to just about a month before the tragic shut down, I'm sorry I wasn't there :(. I must say, this game had a kick ass soundtrack too, I still use it to show off sub-woofers!

Ahh i bought this game yesterday for $1 i install it and find out it was discontinued. It was gonna b a little thing to play for me. Maybe cause havoc in the community for fun and level with friends. Ahh Well I never got the chacne but knowing now it only had 30 ppl per day, that makes me feel sorry because this game could've been.

This game was a spitting image of Twisted Metal if it was a MMO. I wanted to go back to it so bad. After i got my new computer, it can play Crysis. Too bad its dead...

i remember that night it was sad and Terrible amount of disconnections was nuts but we all enjoyed it and move on to the next MMO but there was not another game out there like autoassault so i stuck with tabula rasa for a while and that seems to be going the same the population is vanishing like it did with autoassault i suppose it's like the same lack of addvertiseing, but my opinion autoassault was the best MMO out there for graphics game play and so much destruction and pysics loads more

when i had just got to be able to get into ground zero at lvl 60 i think my subscription ran out and when i got online again i wasnt able to log in and i found out that it had been stoped :( so much for that, and i loved this game

Because there are only 15-30 hard core player/day before the shut down (One of them is me)

And the low population numbers was because the game only catered to a small niche market, and had some fundamental flaws and some serious bugs that the devs weren't able to fix (constant desynch issues on the PvP map for example). I still regard the game as one of the most fun I've ever played though, and it was the first MMO game that really caught my attention. It'll always have a special place in my heart.
