one day i got a lamp and when i used it that Diablos guy came out, and i thought if i killed him i could then start summoning him, never could kill him though, wasnt strong enough but i thought i was near the end of the game coz i played it for months but seeing all theese other GF's convinces me otherwise. Downside: Eventually, as you advanced in the games, ALL summons becomes useless and a drag to use. All FF games, save for 10, Summons becomes pointless after a while and not even worth the effort . A flaw that SE should pick up on a fix!

@actracts Diablos, Doomtrain, Cactuar and Eden never lose their usefulness. Diablos deals damage according to enemies' max hp and Cactuar always does a fixed amount of damage (up to 10.000 when maxed out), and Eden can go WAY over the 9999 mark, so they're pretty good against armored monsters with insane defense or hp. Doomtrain is pretty much a malboro's bad breath in a different envelope, way better than Quistis' bad breath.

Lol uuhm well this game is NOT my favorite but..

I love the GF's and i know how to use the junction system but..

I just love summoning monsters and i never get enough of there attack clips.

It's one of the small things i seriously miss in FF9 where the full

summoning clips only come with crit hits.. which are rare... while the clips

of the summoning beasts are soooo beautifull..

there not really guardian forces, they are only available through items whereas all these grow level along with the characters.

I like the way the make this game cauz' in FF 7 is easier to get all summons here instead you must fight some of them other steal 'em from bosses. So is not so easy to get em and neither to train em the right way to match each player compatibility so they can be used faster.
