got the same saw its great i cutt trees all day i cut firewood do around 55 60 cord a year its a great saw yea and they make alot bigger chainsaws than this husqvarnas biggest saw is a 118cc monster wen this is only 46cc saw it still gets the job done
I had a question for you about your bar and chain. First off I have the same saw and love it. i was going to use a 18-20ich- bar that is 3/8 pitch. did you replace the drive sprocket to go with the larger chain and bar? just curious.. does the saw drive the larger chain with ease.
@capan121 I ended up going back to the regular 18inch bar on mine. The reason mainly was that the rancher bar requires a different sprocket because its thicker and has a different pitch and tooth count. the "clutch"/sprocket is a replaceble item ment to be replaced after about 8 chains. i had to replace mine so i went back to the stock set up. hope this helps.
nice chainsaw, and be cafeful becuase today i was riding my atv up the rode and saw a life flight helicopter pickin up a guy cuz his saw kicked up and cut his face and neck
I was not there obviously but basic safety tips and an introductory course on chainsaw safety will prevent 99% of chainsaw injuries. The remaining 1%, we'll have to live with it.
yes its a 3/8 pitch 72 teeth, and you would need to change the sproket to go to the .325 68 tooth chain. i have both but i only use the .325 setup when i need to cut one of the hickory trees.
one thing to do when you get it is pull the cover and check the clutch hub and chain sprocket. they should be replace every few chains. im gonna do a vid of it when mine come it. i let it go to long and it broke.
You obviously love your chainsaw. I bought the exact same model from Ebay yesterday. Hopefully I will be able to use it before the snow starts to fall - I'm in Canada. Thanks for the video and for the explanations.
I just wanted you to know Husqvarna Chainsaws are made in Stockholm Sweden!!
They started out in 1689 as a weapons foundry & produced their first

is that a 3/8" pitch chain, if so do you need to change the sprocket to fit that chain? they come with a.325" chain.
