Great video!! Not a fan of these A333's at the moment... because Finnair are replacing their beautiful MD-11s with them!!

Not sure about the MD-11s myself. Too many times they have flipped over on landing.

well, twice or three times, yeah. But skilled pilots can handle it, usualy... Great piece of engineering, anyway.

It happened at least 4 times which is a lot - a flawed design for it to happen so much; skilled pilots or not. I'm still not convinced.

Yes, it's because of the smaller than usual vertical stabaliser. But all aircraft have their faults. And just because it has crashed doesn't mean it's not great. The DC-8. Not very safe, but you can't deny the beauty. Same with the caravelle. The Space Shuttle is just about the most unsafe craft ever made by man - but one of the greatest. I see how you feel, but for me, the MD-11 is everything an aircraft should be.
