Yes, some might not be too 'fond' of the front styling (like myself) but, when driven, this mid-cycle refresh feels like a -slightly- different car. It's got a better set engine, improved suspension and a higher redline. Mazda even took steps to improve the engine sound! Overall, a better car and this 2006 NC owner wholeheartedly recommends it.

Mazda did good with the facelift and the car looks sportier though I wish they put a rotary engine in the MX-5. I'm sure it will power it up a bit. Still a great job. It's great fun money can buy these days.

But I'm a bit disappointed at the speed3 and 6 facelift. The previous one looks better actually.

I have '97 NA, I really like new NC but the '09 facelift improve its look a little more aggressive. If I sell my EVO (Not that I want to), I will get one.

well....it's not the NEW mx 5. It's the old one with a SMALL facelift. Looks nice...but I wouldn't buy it for me. Maybe for my parents when they retire

The face looks better, but the lack of colors is pathetic. You have to have a dark interior with the power hard-top unless you want dark blue for your exterior.

Seen it in person. Looks miles better than the 2008 model. It is a minor facelift that gives a touch of an aggressive styling I find. It seriously looks better. I`m putting my order down on it sometime within 2009

Not sure if the smiley works for me. And the fogs look like dimples. Took me a while to spot the tweeks. Essentially, not so very different but it is only facelift... of sorts :D

And as long as it does what it's meant to and give people a big grin whilst out driving, then ...sorted!

The NC Miatas are great little cars. I own a 2006 and i can guarantee that you will have a fun time. I really like the new look. Instead of :0 it looks like :D. how can you now love it! it looks so happy! lol!
