depends on what route you take on how far Robbinsville is from Raleigh. All my relatives came from there. Ronnie was named after my Grandfather Rev. Ronald Holland of Meadow Branch and Yellow creek baptist church. My Grandmother went to pick him up from the school in Raleigh when he was slapped by a janitor and completely lost his sight. Before then he was not completely blind. He could see colors and light.
@BamaManrl my cousin is Tom Collins, Ronnie's agent - we're from Lenoir City, Tennessee. How cool! We all think Ronnie's among the best of country music.
i love ronnie milsap, when my mother was dying of cancer I took her to see Ronnie and told the clerk at our situation she gave us front row seats and she let us meet him he was awesome he made my Moms last few days on this earth was made a little better
I'm not responding to anything - just want to ask a question.
Does anyone remember "I'll Take Care of You" by Ronnie Milsap? I've looked everywhere for it. I had it on a tape my son recorded for me, but of course, I wore the take out. I really need to find this song.
@HarryetteV Hi, "I'll Take Care of You" was on the "One More Try For Love" album released in 1984. I've seen it on eBay and/or gemm.com. Hope this helps.
All who's being critical, please stop! Ronnie Milsap was/is an all-time favorite of mine(hence, my account title)! I fell asleep to his Greatest Hits cassette when I was little! Then Sings My Soul, from a combo of more songs & the fact that I easily fall for gospel music, my favorite genre, now ranks with Greatest Hits as his best release ever! (I have both.) I'm glad he rerecorded his best song, "What A Difference You Made In My Life"! I don't know what's better! Please do another gospel album!
i love the old country singers like ronnie milsap. new country singers only talk about either their trucks, their horses, women, drinking, or about their tractors lol. I can't wait to get this album :)
Thanks for posting this - Ronnie has hit a home run with this one. He NAILED the vocals (AWESOME! ) - of course, he could sing the yellow pages and it would sound great. God Bless You, Ronnie, and thank you for sharing your amazing talent with the world.
I have watched and listened to Ronnie since I first heard his music in the 70's. I have had the pleasure of meeting him twice in my lifetime, and had an album cover signed. His wife, and family are just as wonderful.Fur Elise is one of my favorite songs, and loan behold what did I hear his reverse in his tour bus playing, I couldn't believe my ears! Thanks Ronnie for all the beautiful tunes, my favorite Smoky Mountain Rain since it hit the charts. God Bless You!

ronnie is SUPER!
gospel -- yeah, that's so cool for him to do that
he was 'shy' to do that -- didn't want to show the inside of his soul -- what a sweetheart
let's see that SOUL baby -- you're sweet -- what's to hide?
