Look pal, that's not the point. Remember fly fishing "the quiet sport" ! Maybe you haven't heard that. We met Andy when he first came to fish the San Juan in 95. Talked with him alot and he's a nice enough guy. But what is he teaching his clients about etiquet. That it's ok to talk and talk loud in the presense of others. I've been fishing the San Juan since 1971 and remember the day when we would catch 80 trout in a weekend. It's not how many you catch, it's the quality of the experience .
@monza1948 wear a headset?--you got to be kidding, a lot of customers are older folks who're hard of hearing, like me and fritz are. i think the only thing that really bothers you about andy kim is the numbers of fish he and everyone who's with him always catches. lighten up, enjoy your self, learn to catch fish on your own.
@monza1948 look....if you're trying to get a quiet backcountry experience. dont go to the san juan. i dont care what it used to be like 40 years ago. the fact of the matter is that the san juan is a heavily trafficked stream. its crowded almost every day. you will see dozens of other angler fishing form the bank and plenty floating the stream. thats just the way it is now. its still an excellent fishery and a ton of fun to fish.
Nice net. I like the tape measure it has in it.

Quit your loud and constant talking on the river Andy. Use a headset/mic and earphones for your customers.

@fisherboys151 Well, you have to pay for parking ($5 per day) so you may call it "Pay to Fish" place.
