About the violinists, they have talent, they are great to play in the street, but they have still many things to improve (intonation for example), so in a serious concert or competition they wont have anything to do. They try to do some flashy things, for the street it works great. But just there.

yeah I got the names mixed up, it was Monti wasnt it . . . I wasnt sure because the only reason I recognised the name was because we played it in orchestra once, perhaps I got the composer Verdi mixed up with another piece we played. My mistake

btw under heifetz, we "composed" this thing in ten minutes around 12:00 am and all we did is write down a list of songs that would go good one after the other. we are classical violinists, and play enough serious concerts and get enough prizes for the classical part. so thanks for the comment but there's no need to worry for us, thank god, we're doin fine.
