@Ken00729 chronologically, i think it takes place after sonic 3 and knuckles but but nobody knows for sure

Looks like the redid the cartoon a bit as well. I remember it being a little more pixelated on my sega cd.

yeah this is definately one of the best games they ever made. And son44ic if you remember, if you were around , they teased tails being in the unproduced sequel, and so yeah its a dream realized at last. So personally i think its a bonus that they have rebuilt this from the ground up. Its like a blu ray they have spent time on remastering and plus we get the internation version of the soundtrack at last. Can't wait for this one.

@son44ic Are you kidding me? You can get this game for free by playing the PC version. Screw all the add on content, play as tails? Oh wow, how new and fresh. The way this game is being marketed as the prequel to episode 1 just sickens me as it's just an excuse for sega to make a quick buck.

@Conkerdeath we are all aware that the original version came out in '93, but there are those of us who have always wondered what it'd be like to play as Tails in this game, and his importance in the storyline. and also, the Jap/ EU soundtrack? yes please!

@Conkerdeath That is because we were there, and was and is still a pretty cool game. It won't be much on the download consoles as far as price so its a nice cheap thrill. Not saying its the best game of all time but my copies still holds well after nearly 20 years.

@Conkerdeath Yeah, because they're adding a ton of extras that give us a good reason to get it again. I wasn't sure if I would pick this up, seeing as I already have 3 versions of this game (the Sega CD one, the PC one and the one in Sonic Gems Collection), but now, I'm totally gonna pick this one up.

@Conkerdeath My guss is that the reason why so many people are so hyped over this game is because it was either one of their childhood memories or they never got the cance to play it, the MegaCD/SegaCD version is a little annoying on emulator because it takes some secs for the music to start, the PC ver. is a pain to get working cus u need Virtual PC and stuff (if u dont have a W95/98 PC) and the original vers are kind of expensive while this is a slightly better ver. for only $5 :)

@Conkerdeath and what if we are? The only reason why I would be buying a Sega CD for my model 1 genesis is to play this Sonic game. I would rather pay 5 bucks on xbla which would have more features than the original release than go out and buy that horrid Sonic Gems Collection or the Sega CD add on. BTW make sure not to troll on all the videos about this subject, it makes you look immature ;)
