'Not to be disrespectful'...but, the flag is just a flag. It would be desrespectful if you walked up to a soldier or some gung-ho american (like my grandpa, r.i.p.) and burned it or flipped it upside down, but all-in-all it is just a piece of cloth. There are alot more things in this world that need saving other than flags, like kids. If my daughter pooped her pants i would indeed use a flag if nothing else were avail.
