  • Awesome tone!! Nice job demonstrating this beautiful Weber.

  • Gorgeous sound. Can I ask what strings were used?

  • wow those are nice haha i like the sound and it looks great as well

  • do you what tuning is bein used

  • @brycecake2 probably GDAE, octave mandolin standard tuning

  • Any opions on the MICHAEL KELLY Legacy Elegante Mandolin

  • What tune is being played?

  • This is not any particular song, just a little snippet that Mark said he'd been messing around with. Thanks for your interest.

  • what about Andy Irvine with his Andylin ?

  • that thing sound beautiful. Nice playing too.

  • i no its greek but is now a common feature in irish trad , not saying its irish but its more irish than it is american

  • Octave Mandolins are tuned one octave lower than a Mandolin with 4 unison courses. I believe that the two higher courses on the bouzouki are tuned in octaves. Therefore they are not the same.

  • I had Bruce and Co. build me a gallatin deluxe. They are the best, and this is the best sounding octave mando I've heard.

  • Do you know what song this guy is playing? Its pretty awesome and I'd like to learn.

  • its a bouzouki, ye americans always renaming our stuff ha ha

  • except it's greek like!

  • That is one fine-sounding octave mandolin! TR

  • sure is, and about $3500 too

    :(

  • $2800 to be exact
