This man is not racist. He just misinterpreted the situation because he did not get all the facts. The local govs of Mexico were corrupt as well as the local police but the national executive gov and the military are solid. The reason things are getting more violent is because the gov is fighting now. this is a classic case of things getting worst before getting better.

As much as I hate Fox News and Glenn Beck, he is touching on something that deserves more attention.

However, I don't appreciate his trivialization of America's role in this. If one gets educated about the War on Drugs,one will find that it is almost COMPLETELY America's fault for subsequent conditions in the US and Mexico, and the consequences of it will bite people (on both sides of the border) in the ass until we discontinue this miserable failure of an anti-drug war.

@vsalazar101 God I hate Glenn Beck too but, he just fucking made every sense to me there. This beheadings and impunity of drug gangs. I'm Latin and love Mexican people but desperate situations require, desperate means. If that happens, I'm sorry, invade Mexico and deal witht the problems head on. I guess, that would be a Civil War in a country next door. I don't know...secure our borders for sure...do something, since the Mexican goverment is not.

That is unrealistic and wouldn't solve the problem if we filled our entire prison system with only mexican illegal aliens. I believe that the end to our drug war is the only way to fix this problem. Whatever one may think about Glenn, he's right that drugs are responsible I think. I believe the drug war allowed the exploit that caused this problem in Mexico. I see no way to really fix this problem without rethinking the drug policy.
