umm did you do any research on what lemon and sun will do to your skin???? You have to use A LOT of sunblock because lemon will cause any dark spot to become darker!!!! I suggest you two beautiful girls get some 50 - 70 spf sunblock and big azz hats! Good luck!

Ok, I know for sure that this does work. You should keep the solution on for 15-30 minutes and you are NEVER to go out in the sun while wearing the solution because it will burn your skin and make it darker

Thanks you guys for making this video. I actually tried this method but then I decided to add sugar to it making into a honey lemon and sugar scrub. I use this every day because I have really bad acne and it has left scarring on my face and neck. I also have discoloration from too much sun exposure as well. I've been using this for the past week now and I'm really seeing results and the sugar added makes my skin super moist and soft as well. YAY! You ladies rock!!

it will take a while. i used it to lighten dark scars i had on my face from pimples. it works but i recognized results in about 2 weeks. the mix does give your skin a glow. the mixture is actuall 1tablespoon honey 1 teaspoon lemon. you should have a cough syrup consistancy.
If even skin tone is what you're after, wouldn't it be easier to allow the sun to tan you evenly rather than trying to avoid the sun or lighten yourselves? From the photos, you both look nice with darker skin. And since you have no problem with dark skin, why not try it?

Non white people trying to lighten their skin is an epidemic. There are ways to prevent spots on your skin because these treatments don't just lighten spot It lightens larger areas. This is not mentally healthy. You clearly stated in your introduction that you did not like the affect of sun darkening your skin therefore you obviously have a problem with dark skin. This is called internalized racism. Everybody is darker in the summer and lighter in the winter. You should accept your natural self.

It's called a lightener because that's what it does but don't get on the defensive thinking that someone is trying to become white. Assuming there was a scale that had every shade of color - if I naturally I register an even 7 (a random example) on that scale but over time become a 9 with some areas in between why is it wrong for me to try to get back to an even 7??? That's the point!!! The goal is not to get above 7 - just to maintain my natural tone.

Hey I'm on the same boat as y'all. I'm black and I'm natrually a honey complexion, I live in Texas, tempratures have reached as high as 105 here so of course the sun is going to burn me up. Just this summer it has made my face at least 3 shades darker than the rest of my body, and it just looks so weird. I do use lemon juice and it does work wonders for me along with sunscreen, you just have to keep up with the rountine and it will work for you too! Good luck(: btw you both are gorgeous.

It's called a lightener because that's what it does but don't get on the defensive thinking that someone is trying to become white. Assuming there was a scale that had every shade of color - if I naturally I register an even 7 (a random example) on that scale but over time become a 9 with some areas in between why is it wrong for me to try to get back to an even 7??? That's the point!!! The goal is not to get above 7 - just to maintain my natural tone.

It's pretty ridiculous that you all have to defend yourselves this way. Frankly, I know EXACTLY what you guys are talking about. I don't think it would be any different than anyone wanting to maintain whatever your color is - I live in the south as well (Florida) and I'm light skinned and over the years my tone has become more and more uneven. My fiance is as about as dark as they come and I would HATE for his skin to be lighter. It's not about being ANY lightER than what you were naturally.

There is no such thing as sounding or talking white. The correct term is (proper). I'm sure these girls do love themselves the way they are. If anyone paid attention to what they were saying as much they paid attention to what they were doing and how they spoke proper english, they would've noticed that they said they had gotten tan throughout the summer and they simply wanted to lighten up back to their ORIGINAL skin colors. That's what happens when you leave them in front of the television for hours and hours everyday, and allow them to be conditioned by white western media. They end up hating their skin and features. They won't wanna go in the sun, for fear they'll turn a darker shade of brown. Many will reach adulthood and make biracial children to ensure their offspring won't inherit their brown skin.

I think it's hilarious that so many brown-skinned people want lighter skin. They despise their natural, god-given protection from the sun. They want it where if they go outside for 30 minutes or more, they'll come home looking like a piece of fried bologna. That's exactly how all the Anglo-Americans look where I live. They look like they got thrown on the grill. I guess that's the look you're after.

So i’m not sorry for making this video. And on that note - Do you have a problem with people who dye their hair: people who get wrinkle treatments, or get botoax? @musmendds I don’t think it’s fair for you to judge us, or our video because it doesn’t fit your definition of what is and isn’t “okay.” Yes this mask does lighten skin and removes tan, but it also gives your skin a nice glow, removes sun spots, and provides an even skin tone. We (Crystal and I) DON’T WANT TO BE WHITE, or yellow even - we just wanted to get back to our natural EVEN skin tones, and i don’t know anybody who wouldn’t want that.

Hey I'm on the same boat as y'all. I'm black and I'm natrually a honey complexion, I live in Texas, tempratures have reached as high as 105 here so of course the sun is going to burn me up. Just this summer it has made my face at least 3 shades darker than the rest of my body, and it just looks so weird. I do use lemon juice and it does work wonders for me along with sunscreen, you just have to keep up with the rountine and it will work for you too! Good luck(: btw you both are gorgeous.
