  • Old No. 1 is one of my all-time favorite albums, I am a huge Guy and Emmylou fan, but man--it's Waylon's harmony vocals that really make this track stand out to me.

  • The BEST! EVER! Love you Guy. And Emmy Lou just awesome!

  • any major guy clark fans know why you can't find instant coffee blues performed by him anywhere...even when i saw him in concert in the 80s he didn't want to play it... i gotta believe there is some major reason behind it

  • That guitar bridge at 2:21 is pure Waylon Jennings... if you listen closely you can hear him singing backup vocals starting at 2:58. this whole album has guest appearances on every song.... and these people like Emmylou Harris, Waylon Jennings, Hoyt Axton, and Tracy Nelson, to name a few were honored to work with Guy on this project.

  • Harp tab please!!!!!

  • Kathleen Brilliant i have quite a bit of GC's stuff, he should get more accolades than he does...Thanks for this

  • @teddie488 Thanks teddie. You know, Guy gets accolades from the people that matter the most to him, his fans and peers. I don't think anyone in the industry would deny the fact he is one of the great writers. He is actually quite highly respected and though he may not be a household name to some, he is to those that matter. He is truly dedicated to the 'music' and not the money and has helped so many along the wayl both he and his wife Suzanna. I like to call.him the Sue Brewer of Texas.
