This is best for elongating your Bicep right? Cause I have a distinct peak in my Bicep whereas boxers like Derek Chisora and the Klitscko`s have their bicep almost stretching to their elbow
wow that looks weird. its like an alien is gonna jump out of his bicep. this looks like a pretty easy exercise and the bicep compression is ridiculous. guys do much harder exercises to peak their biceps, when they really dont have to.
You should really put some more 'A day in the gym' vids, those are heaps good, and good to base a workout on, but these instructional videos are good aswell, keep it up Joe!
i use to have scrawny arms i do this with like 10 other work outs everyday with 4 glasses of muscle milk a day and i swear to got my arms got ssooo much bigger but it takes time
@Macycrystal The exercise isn't to create a ''peak'' on the biceps. Because of the angle of the upper arm, the exercises works the end range of motion, also known as the ''peak'' range of motion. It has nothing to do with shaping muscles, which is a myth. Basically, the opposite of preacher curls. Anyone that says you can form a peak shape on your biceps is clearly talking crap.
@frank0712 All the more reason to show proper form. Locking the elbows at the peak of the negative not only is an unnecessary risk for injury, the gravity actually diminishes the intensity/burn of the movement. Poor form, poor video.
@flik221 and he can't even lock his elbows at the peak ffs -.- he can only do that in the relaxed state at the bottom and maybe he should have metioned that if you choose to go heavy you shouldnt lock the elbow at the bottom, but then again he directly says in the video choose a light weight! so i really cant se why he shouldn't go full ROM in this exercise
this is a great excersise i personally find going quite heavy with this excersise works well as u squeeze at the top then bring down slow and work on the negative

wtf you cant do an exercise to get the "peak" as the peak is all genetics.

@0wenSlattery i know but in this vid he cleary says "this exercise will work the peak of the bicep giving it more height"
Macycrystal 1 year ago
@Macycrystal Well then he is clearly demonstrating his knowledge of bro-science.
0wenSlattery 1 year ago 16
@Macycrystal Actually I believe he says "giving it more heighth"...then an akward pause...then back to instructing lol

@Macycrystal That's like saying don't train at all, it's only about genetics.

@flik221 do you see the fucking weight he uses? there is no problem in locking the elbow in that excersie with that small amount of weight :)

i was thinking of adding spider curls and drag curls into my bicep routine. where should i place them? beggining or end of workout?
iYouSteve 1 year ago
spider bench curls. It's famed by Vince Gironda, from California. Larry Scoot days. Pretty good form, not great.
