It's the real Hachi on film. Just the part in black and white, see in that part when Hachi appears it says in Japanese in red letters or (Kanjis whatever). It says: "The real Hachiko". And that sound it´s his barking. At lest that's what they are saying
yo uploader of this vid, was that the real standing looking at the statue? awesome... did u guys mean Japan didnt make a movie out of this? i thought the 'Hachiko monogatari' was their version? btw, i love hachiko so frickin much :)
RF Hollywood shouldn't have made this movie since they didn't even show it in the U.S. in the movie theatres. They didn't even give Hachiko or this movie respect by not even showing it in the movie theatres. They put this movie direct to DVD. Shame on the movie company that didn't allow this movie to be shown in the movie Theatres
@JimAsian1 Really? That's too bad. It was a great film and I thought the US adaptation was well done. My head was hurting trying to stop tears from flowing.
I guess as Hachi was very famous and many people used to travel just to meet him, it might be tha someone toke a video of him...even if we are talking about the 30s...
A question to Hiee...how are u so sure that video is not a fake??
The first (movie) clip was actually clips from the first movie of Hachiko in 1987. There was never any video of the real Hachiko only photos. & a supposedly recording of Hachikos bark taken from a broken record.
@SheWolfofHam Yes, there was video in 1934. There are films of the first World War starting in 1914. And yes, this video is the real Hachi. They even state that in this video, but I guess it would help if you understood what the people in the video are saying too.
Thank you very much for this video, so lovely to hear Hachiko barking.

Thanks
JimAsian1 1 year ago
@jedaqia That is the real hachi in this video. They made this video after the first statue was erected in his honor.
