  • Thank you very much for this video, so lovely to hear Hachiko barking.

  • imdb.com/title/tt1436316/

    Arupusu taisho (1934)

    90 min - Drama - 15 November 1934 (Japan)

    Director: Kajiro Yamamoto

Writers: Keiji Matsuzaki (screenplay), Eiji Yoshikawa (novel)

Stars: Sadao Maruyama, Sachiko Chiba and Hachi <--------------

  • It's the real Hachi on film. Just the part in black and white, see in that part when Hachi appears it says in Japanese in red letters or (Kanjis whatever). It says: "The real Hachiko". And that sound it´s his barking. At lest that's what they are saying

  • 長門さんのご冥福お祈りいたします

  • 0:37 siiiiiiiiiiiii este es hachiko cuando estaba vivo increible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Could anyone who knows japanese translate this please?

  • MEEEO QUE LINDO ELE MERECE.

  • Ah que leeendooo !

  • T_T

    hachi sama

  • yo uploader of this vid, was that the real standing looking at the statue? awesome... did u guys mean Japan didnt make a movie out of this? i thought the 'Hachiko monogatari' was their version? btw, i love hachiko so frickin much :)

  • I think Japan should have made this movie since it wasn't even shown in the U S in the movie Theatre RF

  • all i heard was a dinosaur voice... are u shure this is rlly his bark???

  • ?? Never seen this before

  • RF Hollywood shouldn't have made this movie since they didn't even show it in the U.S. in the movie theatres. They didn't even give Hachiko or this movie respect by not even showing it in the movie theatres. They put this movie direct to DVD. Shame on the movie company that didn't allow this movie to be shown in the movie Theatres

  • @JimAsian1

in italy it was distributed in movie theaters indeed

  • @JimAsian1 - So what you're saying is that they didn't show the movie in the movie theatres?

  • @JimAsian1 Really? That's too bad. It was a great film and I thought the US adaptation was well done. My head was hurting trying to stop tears from flowing.

  • i'm very curios to about the video authenticity.

I guess as Hachi was very famous and many people used to travel just to meet him, it might be tha someone toke a video of him...even if we are talking about the 30s...

A question to Hiee...how are u so sure that video is not a fake??

  • The first (movie) clip was actually clips from the first movie of Hachiko in 1987. There was never any video of the real Hachiko only photos. & a supposedly recording of Hachikos bark taken from a broken record.

  • @jedaqia Are you sure the first clips is from 1987? That clip was in black and white. I know the one made in 1987 was in color

    Thanks

  • @jedaqia That is the real hachi in this video. They made this video after the first statue was erected in his honor.

  • @Djlai78 There's a few video. Which part that you say was the real Hachi?

  • @jedaqia @ 35 seconds is the real Hachi and the audio towards the end is Hachi's.

  • my from is (spain) good akita hachiko autentik mi kanal is breadearagonadri

  • This TV show shown the real video & photos of the original Hachiko, the voice of the dog too, at the end. Its really something.

  • @hiiee no i dont think they had video cameras in the 1930s....

  • @SheWolfofHam Yes, there was video in 1934. There are films of the first World War starting in 1914. And yes, this video is the real Hachi. They even state that in this video, but I guess it would help if you understood what the people in the video are saying too.

  • @Djlai78 this is film - just to be clear... an old film. Video wasn't around yet. Film.

  • @SheWolfofHam yes..they do have. they even have movies from 20's and 30's

  • please some firend from japan could translate

  • Hi, I'm just curious if that video is the real commemoration of the statue and that is the real Hachiko in the video.

    Thank you.
