I am COPTIC and Yes, life has been hard for me since the moment i was born. I even wrote my college entrance essay on how i would have enjoyed my life had i been born in another country, but you know what I WANT YOU ALL TO VISIT EGYPT. @albobeauty17 yeah it's really safe, just stay together (main worry would be getting lost!) and don't wear revealing clothes unless at a resort or something. Just remember it's not all pristine and glamorous, it's mostly dirty and disorganised but that's what makes it so unique and amazing. I went with a bunch of women in early 20s and we were fine :) Incredible country.

My journey to Egypt was a vacation of a lifetime. I went there for the history but I found the people warm and welcoming. I plan to go again. For the record, I'm a middle aged white Christian woman. I felt safer in Egypt than in some American neighborhoods. Extremists can be found anywhere.

@albobeauty17 yeah it's really safe, just stay together (main worry would be getting lost!) and don't wear revealing clothes unless at a resort or something. Just remember it's not all pristine and glamorous, it's mostly dirty and disorganised but that's what makes it so unique and amazing. I went with a bunch of women in early 20s and we were fine :) Incredible country.

You simply do not know you worship the sun. Sunday the day of the sun is still considered sacred around the world. Surely you understand that without the sun we would all freeze and starve too death.
