Yeah our English mastiff girl puppy is easily the smartest, calmest, and overall coolest dog we've ever had. Nothing else has compared.

I absolutely agree with dxnlis. My English Mastiff is the best dog ever. Again a little slober, farting, and snoring but that's it. We just keep a little towel in the kitchen for the slober. Im 14 and this is the best dog for any age. He's so cautious of everything. He just eats a lot!

My English Mastiff is 5 yrs old now, all I have to say is he is the BEST DOG EVER!!!!!! absolutely the best dog in the world.

If you don't mind a little slobber, occasional farting and snoring, and if you can afford to feed them and take care of them, the rewards way out number any cost. He is my best bud, my constant...I can not describe the way I love this dog. I will always have a Mastiff...I love this dog!

english mastiff, because they ar bigger and cuter, and also with the st bernards they have this problem with there eyes where the eye lashes fold into the dog's eye and they have to get surgeory. mastiffs are less maintnence, and are way better in my opinion.

it depends if you get it from a well nown breeder or if you wanna buy it at the pet store. i would buy it from a breeder if i were u because their more healthy and much better to take care of but IF u get it from a breeder its like $4,000 and you have to wait until thier 3 weeks old because they will ge too young to give away and it is hard to find this kind of dog in pet stores they would be like 120-220 $ in pet stores up to u! complacated huh? trust me i have one!

Mastiff's(english)are the largest breed. I'm not talking about height, because that would be the Great Dane. I'm talking about size(how mush room you take up). And that would be the English Mastiff's.

If I ever own a big house I want one of this giants to defend my house or 3. :)

Are English Mastiffs bigger than the Brazillian Mastiffs. I got three of them one is 1.5 years old and weighs around 180pounds(his dad was 250lbs) and the other two are his babies(the 1.5yrs) and they are 6 weeks old the same as these tikes. there soo cute!

Sydney, these dogs are nicknamed "the gentle giants" for a good reason. You could not ask for a better family dog, great with children of all ages! Downfalls are drool, hips, and appetite. My best friend, Bizmark was great with the neighbor's daughter (3 yrs. old). She used to ride on him like a horse! I bawled like a baby when I had to put him down due to old age and hip dysplasia. These animals have a great reputation. Don't believe me? ask any owner.

Wow thats a big litter. My English Mastiff ("Quake") was the only on in his litter. But the mastiff we had before him ("Timber") was from a litter of about 8 i think. But i couldnt imagine life without them in it. Quake is so un-usually energetic and fun
