@tsnm8888 He even said in an interview, Skillet plays their shows solely for rock. They're Christians but it would tune a lot of people out if he whipped out a Bible and gave a sermon. Their message is in their music. FYI it's easy to criticize others but I bet you haven't even considered that your comment might be judgmental. Just saying.

What John Cooper said was an inside joke, although i can see how others might take it the wrong way. I know girls who cite the bible to joke about how women are better than men, but we all know that the whole men vs women thing is just teasing and fooling around.
