i think pegg is way over hyped, definately funny but his films just drag out, Hot fuzz was cool but got boring after the fat guy ran through the fence ; )

Shaun of the Dead is a classical, everyone who knows of Spaced's existence is in love with it - he already had a name before he done Hot Fuzz, JJ Abrams loves him and he's one of the few LIKEABLE talents working in the industry today.
Whatever attention he does get is warranted but he doesn't get a lot of it anyway. He's treated very well and he deserves it.

Not so - the BBC World Service, Radio stations, website, and news coverage are all first rate. If you had your way we'd all be watching Murdoch-approved "entertainment product", and 24 hour rolling "news" that oscillates between celeb tedium and thinly-disguised right wing polemic. Murdoch fucks this country and doesn't pay a penny in tax, and the BBC is one of the few things standing between us and him.

Not really. They caught 5% of people not paying the tv license last year, whereas it is much harder (in most cases) to avoid paying tax. So thats just a random guess that you have made with no evidence...

Wow your terrible with maths. First of all, you changed it by 4.99%, 0.01% does not = 1%.
Secondly, I was just using that as an example, there could be many more people that aren't paying TV licence, just they haven't been caught. So there are AT LEAST 1 million more tax payers than TV license payers, before you take other factors into account.
Also, you fail at being funny.
