Yes, it might look like a big deerhound to the quick glancing types, but a deerhound has a greyhounds frame, and would not have such thick shoulders or wide neck.
As a consolation, it could be a mixed breed. But it is wolfhound mostly in that case.

lol I have a scottish deerhound puppy (actually she's a austrailian shepherd/deerhound mix but she is the only one in her little that acts and looks like the deerhound) and she does the exact same thing to me! I hope she doesn't get as tall as that cutie cause I'm also kinda short! ^^' And yes these dogs are very playful. They never really 'bite' you they just give little nips. They just dont know how strong they are. I love Deerhounds though! So Pretty!
