The Docs head would not be just nicked it would be smashed from Adam's hand or the shelf. He didn't understand his own strength so i f he killed someone it wouldn't be subtle! pretty obvious but shows how prejudice blinds justice sometimes.

I think the reason we still watch these is because they were so well written.
I wonder if the people who produce tv today have ever watched any of the OL?

Surprisingly for the era, and given 60's TV budget, some OL creatures were pretty realistist. But they were using bargian basement special effects.

I love how Nimoy returned to reprise this role in the 90s Outer Limits rendition of "I, Robot."
