The tick tock sound is amazing. I almost wish I could have a a constant tick tock sound as I go through life. You listen to the song, you get wrapped up in the soundscapes and choir ahhhhs, but like life, you only have a limited amount of time on this earth. And so this song as it quietly dies a slow death. Do what you want, enjoy life, it is limited. That's what this somg reminds me of.
Yessss, this song is a true classic. How do you tell a story with just soundscapes? Better ask Global Communication... they studied these kind of stuff and got themselves a habilitation.
@fintogive They're indeed geniuses. I saw they've performed this year at the Big Chill in the UK. I wonder if they realy did a chill set or just a house set ala Fabric. Nonetheless... I wish I was there.
Without a doubt my all time favorite ambient piece bar none. The stunning visual effects complement this beatiful track. What utter genius, my whole hearted thanks for this.
What more can i add?A masterpiece.A work of art.I listein it in the car when i am driving and seing beautiful nature.It travels me.Awesome production,flawless timing.I especially love the part that starts from 5:05.
Read into it what you will, this is a superb track and a five ***** upload. When the atmosphere is right, this track helps me dig into my earliest memories and discern my earliest moment of self recognition. Born 11 June 1984.
I wish society could operate as beautifully as this song. Oh dreams, dreams, I wish I could sleep forever, and feel this sound through my soul the whole time, on repeat, just as the river runs.
Completely forgot I was listening to this while I was reading, yet my emotions were flowing in and out to the atmosphere of this track. Didn't notice it until about 12:45, when I felt like I was going to explode and I didn't know why.
@fintogive yep, GCgood stuff ;) betta l8 thn nvr i say......................note inside sleeve to "76:14" -
'Numbers are chosen to identify seperate tracks because 'names' tend to bias the listener by pre-defining images, places and feelings. This gives the listener the freedom of imagination to derive whatever he/she wishes from the music.'
@foodog1 yeah i know. i wiki alot on GC so i know just about every thing about them lol i have alot of music on CD by GC i even have pentamerus metamorphisis.
@AmyS77 The tick tock takes this song to an higher level. There are a lot of relaxing and celestial songs out there. This one achieves a more complex goal. The keyboard gives you serenity, the tick tock takes it away. As time goes by, you find yourself waiting for something but you just don't know what you're waiting for and then it ends. You think you've missed something but what you've missed is beyond your comprehension and will always be.
@fintogive ;-) quintessential, synthetic music. When it doesn't just make me fly, it makes me think of the Bogdanov brothers' theory about what came before the Big Bang, some sort of infinite immobility containing all the universe's (multiverse's ?) variations and possibilities. You oughtta check it out. Anyway, It's gotta be nice for them knowing the music they make serves as food for dreams for thousands... Very nice channel btw, just added you... Peace !
