@BraceNemesiz the best light machine is the one you like . but the m249 has a little lower damage rate than the pkp , M240B ,and the m60e4. but the m249 has a faster rate of fire out of them all. good gun , quite versatile but lacks damage at rang due to its lower caliber ammunition.

Actually this weapon sucks hard. Low firing rate.Very bad recoil even with foregrip.You have no chance with this against fast rate rifles-carbines-lmgs both in close quarters and range when playing with pros ofc. Its just the rambo feeling when your hear that firing sound. Feels strong. Nothing else.M249 beats this,m16,f200,as val,ak/p varieties all beat this seriously.

idk what are u used to. but now after they changed lots of things (10/12/11) this is different. plus im using this gun like always and i own in close quarter and im not going against some level 5~30 nabs or so.. that gun is a beast in the right hands

@Sutinennn its the beta and it was full of them, but the ones on my team are worse, check the last clip as they abondon me to arm and defend the m-com on my own against the entire enemy team :/

Thats why I always play Conquest. Ive played maybe 3 Rush rounds, one of them were in Operation Firestorm. My team failed to defend a M-com what was in middle of nowhere. :D

@RacFuhk It's hardly OP... I've shot people in the face and they have survived to kill me in one bullet with an assault rifle. It's only major benefit is having the least recoil out of all the actual machine guns (Not counting the two starters) The M240B is better in every way though, same damage, higher RoF, and the recoil is easy to control.

I unlocked the M60 in the beta in 2 days on the PS3, you don't even need a foregrip on it, just keep the bipod and you can rip through an entire enemy team with one 200 round mag. I love that thing.
