Brawl doesn't use hit-stun for its combos. It does its combos in a non-traditional way, via stringing attacks together within a specific time frame without being countered.
@smashbrolink seriously this game has very little hitstun. its hard to pull off any combos more than 2 hits unless its a chaingrab. this is why im starting to master iceclimbers :3

brawl is good for casual gaming and get togethers but if your trying to do more competitive gaming then melee is preferred for the fact that its faster and there are more adv. techniques to learn then figure out how to use in your style of play

a lot of moves in brawl are to ez to do take fox running up smash for e.g. in brawl you just run an hit c stick up. right, now try that in melee nothing happens when you hit the c stick while running you actually have to jump but before you even leave the ground you have to up smash.
What is the purpose of this video? To counter the argument that Melee is better than Brawl because as this video shows Brawl has combo potential? I would like more concrete evidence, because in this video I do not see any indication of combos that require more tech skill or are more intricate than those in melee.
Melee sucks ass. It's way too casual for a gamer like me and should have never won a Gold Award. 80% is probably the best score Melee should ever get. The first Smash Bros. should have got 75%. Brawl deserves 98% because it is the best selling fighting game of all time and is alot better than that Melee crappy shit. 64 is even worse but still Brawl rules and is the best. Best Adventure Mode out of the whole series. Melee's Adventure Mode sucked ass and is a disgrace to mankind gaming. BIB.

a lot of moves in brawl are to ez to do take fox running up smash for e.g. in brawl you just run an hit c stick up. right, now try that in melee nothing happens when you hit the c stick while running you actually have to jump but before you even leave the ground you have to up smash.

What is the purpose of this video? To counter the argument that Melee is better than Brawl because as this video shows Brawl has combo potential? I would like more concrete evidence, because in this video I do not see any indication of combos that require more tech skill or are more intricate than those in melee.

Melee sucks ass. It's way too casual for a gamer like me and should have never won a Gold Award. 80% is probably the best score Melee should ever get. The first Smash Bros. should have got 75%. Brawl deserves 98% because it is the best selling fighting game of all time and is alot better than that Melee crappy shit. 64 is even worse but still Brawl rules and is the best. Best Adventure Mode out of the whole series. Melee's Adventure Mode sucked ass and is a disgrace to mankind gaming. BIB.

Brawl and Kingdom Hearts 2 are better than the games before them. In fact in my opinon Kingdom Hearts 2 is the best in the Kingdom Hearts series yet and I'm really looking forward to Kingdom Hearts Re: coded for my DS. I'm sorry for acting like a prick. Melee being deep is a complete accident but brawl will NEVER be as deep. if you want to play it for a mediocre campaign, imo better characters cause snake is awesome lol, and more fun stages, then do it. w.e. I am not living in the past, but it would be cool for me to buy an old N64 and break away from the 360/Wii (and soon PS3) to play my old games again. melee pwns brawl, brawl is REALLY slow. i honestly though something was wrong with my wii when i got brawl the day it was released. melee is much more intense, fast-paced, SKILLFUL, competitive, and all around fun. if you think melee is too hard try brawl because it's like melee- speed and skill
