@nancy88414 hey if you gain muscle easily but looking to lose inches, then your best bet would be to do cardio. this way youll be burning pure fat and only lean muscle..
@nancy88414 it will help tone your legs, so they will look thinner but there will be more muscle. however the muscle replaces the fat, so you're weight will either stay the same, or decrease, so no worries :) good luck xxx

@hannahmaez Cellulite are excess fats that are mostly gathered on thighs. You can see it when you stand up and look at your thighs from the back, you'll see small lumps which are actually fat. It's quite hard to vanquish, really.

Last week I tried the squat exercise featured here,it made my inner thighs ache the next day. Now a week later, I no longer have those ache, but I still do them, I love this move!! Yes the heart rate do get ram up!!
Do you guys have anything on toning your bust and making your clavicle a little more prominant? Those areas and my arms are what I need to work on the most! And I LOVE this exercise! While the kids are at the park, I do these in the grass area. xD
I tried this out today, my thighs really were burning. I did 3 sets of 10 each for a start, and later my legs were feeling jelly ! I'll continue to work on it!

@Yesenia0710 I'm sorry, but the only way to get rid of cellulite (naturally) is to lose weight and to tone your muscle groups (I'm guessing around the legs and ass). Unfortunately, weight loss isn't specific; you lose fat wholistically, your body grabs fatty tissue when it needs it throughout your whole body, you can't tell it to just get it from one part of your body.
@Yesenia0710 i heard that by rubbing used coffee grounds for at least 4 weeks on your problem areas will help reduce the appearance of cellulite b/c the caffeine in it helps circulate the blood flow, or something like that. I haven't tried it, but I've listened to numerous fitness trainers say this.
@sMezzzie Do you eat a lot of salty foods? If so try to cut down on salts and sugars, cause they make you retain water, and maybe try one of those yogurts that help your digestive system and bowel movement.

Is it possible to get bulky legs from running? I started running and have been doing about 18 miles a week for the past 3 months and I feel like my thighs are bulking up.
@hilli713 I don't know if this will be true for you but I found that my experience with running was that if I run at a high incline, I got really bulky thighs pretty quickly. So now I just don't set the incline at all (so it stays at 0) and I just ramp up the speed for intervals.
@hilli713 I'm not sure about targeting thighs and glutes specifically, but I know that it definitely helps give your core a better workout and also tones up your body more. It's great for weight loss. Do intervals of really fast, fast, moderate pace for about 12-20 minutes depending on your fitness level and what you prefer. See how you like it! :)
The problem with me is that I don't have anybody to train with (most of my friends are coutch patatoes). So what can get me motivated to do all those exersises? Also do you have some workouts for the abdominal muscles?

Is it possible to get bulky legs from running? I started running and have been doing about 18 miles a week for the past 3 months and I feel like my thighs are bulking up.

@hilli713 I don't know if this will be true for you but I found that my experience with running was that if I run at a high incline, I got really bulky thighs pretty quickly. So now I just don't set the incline at all (so it stays at 0) and I just ramp up the speed for intervals.

@hilli713 I'm not sure about targeting thighs and glutes specifically, but I know that it definitely helps give your core a better workout and also tones up your body more. It's great for weight loss. Do intervals of really fast, fast, moderate pace for about 12-20 minutes depending on your fitness level and what you prefer. See how you like it! :)

The problem with me is that I don't have anybody to train with (most of my friends are coutch patatoes). So what can get me motivated to do all those exersises? Also do you have some workouts for the abdominal muscles?
