@gavmcguinness8024 ScreenPlay Pro plays MKV files from a transcoding program on your PC. The newer MX and DX models will play some MKV files natively (this depends on which codec was used when creating the video). Check out the Iomega Support site for more information.
I have a lot of movies but when i play the movies in my computer i need to add subtitles .I use for this VLC player to add subtitles did anybody of you know if this Iomega screen player can play subtitles too?

If i have the firmware update of the iomega screenplay director on my pc how do i install it in to my iomega ? and also i deleted everything on my iomega Including the files system
@Mr2009Barry We have tested Screenplay Pro in Windows7 and havent seen issues. Please contact tech support and they can provide specific troubleshooting.
Does this allow MKV?

just make sure the subtitles have the same name and are in the same map and it displays the subtitles

i have that media box i'm using windows 7
is there any way i can put stuff on with windows 7
it reads the drive grand but when i try copy stuff on to it
it dosent seem to let me, any sugestions??

@Mr2009Barry You probably have to change network settings so you can read and write to the drive.
