Just my opinion, Rascal Flatts version stays true to the tone of the lyrics and I see why you prefer theirs to Cascadas up beat version. But to me Rascal Flatts is giving out a sad and serious version of the song. Now Cascadas version brings out a more "that hurt but ya know what it's not gonna bring me down" attitude and I love it. I respect both versions, this one just tends to be more on the glass is half full point of view. Same glass, same lyrics. Different perspectives, different versions.

However Cascadas is about a relationship ending because the other person leaves. Both are great songs like you said, not disagreeing with you just reinforcing what ya already said =)

Acually I've listened to both Rascal Fklatts and Cascada's version and both are totally awesome, It all depends on the style wether you like it or not. Rascal is more slow and feeling oriented while, of course, Casscada has a more upbeat tune. It just really depends on your mood.
