Too many people see all Muslims are terrorists and think their lives are not worth anything like as much as an American life. One group of people this probably doesn't apply to are the troops in Iraq.
Unbelieveable after years of leftist propoganda to get out of Iraq and let the terrorist take over ,crap . Even aljeezera New York , the New York times is starting to admit what were doing in Iraq is good , some guy claiming to be conservative is trying to cut and run , the time for debate was before we went in . were in there now its to late to run and hand it over to even more evil terrorist , thats evil not biblical.
Claiming to be a conservative? haha Now my credentials are up for grabs? Please tell me you are aware of people known as libertarians, paleoconservatives, and constitutionalists. The right is not monolithic on the war.
Leftist propaganda? And you use "cut and run" on me. That is a soundbite right out of the neocon handbook.
Well, we would radically disagree over your apocaplyptic prophecy pertaining to the terrorist take-over after we decide to pull our troops out.
Our godly troops? You speak as if they are a monolithic force. As one who was in the military and is part of a military family, I can say with little reserve that our Armed Forces have become moral cesspools.
And why is decrying an unjust war "hating" America?
I have an inkling that I may be taking you too serious, but you're an odd one who's hard to figure.
What are we to do when we bring the troops home, and they hit us with a much more destructive attack than 9-11? I can't stand the troops being over there and I've lost my support for Bush over the israel land split. Those people don't want to change... It's all biblical. Once we leave how do we prepare for what we know is coming?
If we take government reports serious, the Muslims aren't ticked off us because of our "freedoms." They're angry because of our policies. Blowback is real. We bomb their countries, occupy their holy land, demand they change their culture, put sanctions on their countries, and fund/defend their greatest enemy. Why wouldn't they be ticked?
Come home. Secure borders. Reform immigration. Monitor our ports. Leave the rest to God.
Absolutely. People like Ron Paul were warning this country of a blowback like 9-11 for years! Nobody took him serious. Ah, they aren't pissed that we are over there. No, they just read the Bill of Rights and got worked up into a foaming frenzy.
As hard as it is to accept, actions have consequences... this is especially true for foreign policy.
say here, but isn't our support of Israel a part of what makes us a target of these terrorists. We have had that much longer than we have been over in their countries. That said, I don't necessarily believe what we are doing there will reduce terrorism, but I'm only saying, they do hate us for things other than our meddling.

I just watched a video of Martin Bell on the Iraq war. Bell is a British reporter of the utmost integrity.
He says that the anti-Iraq war movement is not confined to lefties. Some of the best criticism he's heard has been from acting soldiers.
A fairly senior British officer in Iraq said to him "Now I know what it must have felt like to be a Wehrmacht officer in France in WW2.

Let me get this straight:
You think that paleocrat hates God because paleocrat thinks that mass murder is wrong.
Wow.

Yeah, imagine that. Folks like KillHomers were those I was describing in my blog entry "My Antiwar Moment."
