@sparklechild7689 It really doesn't have yuri in it. Well, the long haired one's NAME is actually Yuri, but the Yuri you're speaking of isn't there. :p In that regard it's rather tame compared to what you expect when you see two female leads in today's anime.

Yuri (the original one from this TV series, the movies and the OVA) is the sexiest female anime character of all time. F*** Asuka and Faye Valentine (overrated sluts). Yuri's not just the sexiest but the cutest too.

@bodreddd What censorship? I've seen most of the original series from a really bad quality download I acquired a few years ago. I didn't see anything that would be censored on a DVD release. The Dirty Pair wear bikini type outfits, but I don't remember any nudity at all. Plus, the show is no more violent then lots of today's anime.

@cuteycindyhoney in my OP, when anime went "mainstream" it was tainted, and it tainted others. All teh mainstream wanted was Hentai .. And I miss the classic Marvel and DC art work styles, I don't want to see Batman looking like an anime character, Wolverine with a goatie and big eyes just is wrong.
