  • Hi Mama Shan. Instead of changing the color of the dress, is it possible to use other texture or graphics for instance I want the US Flag to be the design of the dress. Is that possible in photoshop Mama Shan. Please help me.Thanks. I love watching your videos.

  • Yes that would call for making what is called a Displacement Map. I have a couple of vids buried on my web site, used for a class I taught a few years ago. I'll put the link in the more info area here, so you and others can watch them.

  • thank you soooo much love it

  • ur good, almost as good as god lol

  • Thank you but I think only we all collectively can bring about the goodness of god.

  • great tutorial. i've always asked how do you colorize a solid black or solid white color, i also thought there's nothing you can do about it anymore, until this tutorial. there's not one out there that is as easy & effective as this method...thanks a lot...big help for me :-D

  • Hail to the Queen

  • girl, you're the master of photoshop!

  • Thank you. While I do admit to knowing a lot about Photoshop, I've been working in it for 10 years, now, there are still areas I've yet to explore...so I can only admit to master of some of it and there's still more of it for me to learn and master. They always keep my interest up because they always add something neww in each new version, which is a blessing and a curse at times.

  • Amazing. Even when the concept looks "old news" there's a trick that adds so much to it.

Loved the channel mixer, much better results than just reducing the opacity of the other adjustment layers as I would usually do.

    You're the best Mama!

  • Nice!

  • all your videos are perfect

  • great videos thank's for the lessons !

  • you should win an award for all these free videos you are doing!! - you get my vote!

  • Can the same thing be done for coloring a white dress/outfit?

  • I'm editing that video right now and uploading later today.

  • would i be able to use this to change eye colour? or make it my lighter and nicer?

  • Yes, I'm trying to teach "concept" and this can be applied to this as well. Read the More info in the right panels of this vid and the Photoshop Mama's Colorizing Concept vid.

  • Excelente tutorial.

y puedo decir que este metodo me funcionara de las mil maravillas.

  • Great video as always.

    Thanks.

    Rick
