in 2001 I hired some Sudanese 'lost boys' who came to the U.S. through the U.N. Upon learning that one of the boys was trying to earn enough money to buy his mom back from slavery, I was inspired to write the song
'Dark Rain' (see video above or under 'two
worlds connect' on youtube). Thank you for what you have done to help expose what is happening in Sudan. If you have a benefit in Southern California it would be an honor for my band to play.

I met Mia Farrow and spoke with her on this issue of Darfur. It is a huge problem to solve. I commend all who try to help others.
