I actually think that Paris was very good in her role in "House of Wax". And this scene is my favorite in the whole movie. Great suspense and of course, the death scene is gruesome which is always a plus. One of the best horror films of the 2000s in my opinion.

The killer's throw, on the other hand, was terrific. Dead center of the forehead with enough velocity to puncture both sides of the skull! Seriously, if half of the killers in these horror films participated in selected Olympic events, like the javelin throw, they would be guaranteed gold medals.
