While I like Billy Warlock, I think he was just wrong for AJ. Or maybe it was just the writing, they turned him into this sniveling, little coward of a weasel. Hardly how Sean had portrayed him and been written...

@Clips2Share Hollywood tends to bring out the "urban" in white characters when they get involved with a black person...I don't have anything against the song, I just don't think AJ would have played this song had he been dating a white woman. Or, rather, the producers/directors/whomever chose the song wouldn't have picked it.
Sean was my favorite AJ i just loved him but i hated Billy AJ but this scene i didn't hate him why did Guza had to make AJ so Hateable when Billy played him they should had keep AJ like this the way he was in this clip then i might i had like him as AJ too
Does ANYBODY know what happened to Senait Ashenafi?? She made like one movie in 2001 and then disappeared off the face of the earth (or Hollywood at least). lol
I can barely stand to watch these clips. What they, and by they I 100% mean Bob Guza, did to AJ and subsequently this entire show is unforgivable! I only started watching in 99 and all I ever knew from was AJ being a screwup drunk, but I still liked him. I do not understand why he could not have been written like this and had to be vilified and killed to make us think Jason and Sonny STEALING his son wasn't wrong and that they were the good guys. I didn't buy it then, and definitely don't now!
when i heard some ward's were coming into town i was really hoping keesha would be brought back as well but so far nope, but maybe hope isnt lost yet lol
I've been a long time dedicated GH fan but I'm growing tired of the "mob" central storylines. I would love GH to get back to serious stuff and not focus so much on Sonny & Jason. There are a whole lot of other characters on the show that are hardly getting used! Bring back a few old time characters and things like the Nurse's Ball. Seeing the Nurses's Ball again would be fantastic because then the show is helping out a great cause and not trying to wow the audience
@kreed82 Billy Warlock took over the role of AJ in late 97 I think. He left the role and came back in the 00s. So, that's how it's possible. I preferred Sean Kanan as AJ, as he was the definitive AJ for me.

Sean Kanan was fired in summer 1997 and I think Warlock started airing onscreen in August or September.
@PhloeFanSince2000, I also liked Senait better with Kenan and would love for her to return, but if she did come back it's have to be with "A. J.'s teen-age son in tow".
