In 2001 Dave Grohl (former drummer for Nirvana) did drums on Michael Jackson's song 'Another Day'' which didn't release until 2010 on the album 'Michael'.

Nirvana's Nevermind album was easily their biggest-success as it managed to knock off Michael Jackson's Dangerous album off the Number One spot in January of 1992.

Apparently, one of the reasons Kurt wanted Steve Albini to produce "In Utero" was the fact that he hated Nevermind's production.
