@Alfish83 I think she was trying to point out that the jaw muscle is something that is more or less permanent and cannot be changed. Weight loss does not affect the jaw muscle. It cannot decrease in size however it can get bigger by excess chewing and grinding on teeth but it's mainly just genetic factors that contribute to bigger jaw muscles.
@faumf001 - You'll lose fat. They're talking about her big jaw MUSCLES there. And it's not so much about slimming her face, she wants her face to look longer. If your face is naturally wide slimming your face a little big won't make it look much longer.

Think about why women and men too, go to the extremes of surgery to "look better". It's because society dictates what is good looking and acceptable and what is not. You guys, in the info bar it says Botox is also used for non-cosmetic reasons too like excessive sweating or in her case grinding of teeth. She just happens to be killing two birds with one stone as she has mentioned that she doesn't like her wide jaw line. This is an informative video and I'm sure she'll update us with extra info on safety.

@MmmKimboSlice because very large massetter muscles are a very common issue with them. I live in Korea and tons (if not most...) get this done. It makes the face seem a little more mature and less little kid chubby, no amount of weight loss helps since its a muscle. The results are very nice so I can see the appeal.

Through history appearance has been pushed and pushed and pushed and now there is no going back. I like your videos and all, and I understand you are using it to slim your face but please don't get botox on the rest of your face. for example laugh lines and such, everyone has them. You are too young for that kind of procedure and it WILL age you faster. Anyway, you look beautiful.

You guys, in the info bar it says Botox is also used for non-cosmetic reasons too like excessive sweating or in her case grinding of teeth. She just happens to be killing two birds with one stone as she has mentioned that she doesn't like her wide jaw line. This is an informative video and I'm sure she'll update us with extra info on safety.

I don't understand why people are offended or are judging her or think it's going to influence young girls to get botox. This is her OWN personal decision and she's just sharing her experience.
It's not like she's encouraging people to get botox. Stuff like this is on tv everyday and nobody's complaining. If I'm considered as a young girl (cos I'm 17) well you don't see me wanting to get botox. I'm glad she posted this video up. I happen to think it was interesting and very informative.

@MmmKimboSlice because very large massetter muscles are a very common issue with them. I live in Korea and tons (if not most...) get this done. It makes the face seem a little more mature and less little kid chubby, no amount of weight loss helps since its a muscle. The results are very nice so I can see the appeal.

I actually wasn't aware that there was a procedure as this. [sounds extremely painful, as well] Then, I started to see the influx of beauty bloggers getting cosmetic procedures, like botox in the jaw, for the same slimming jaw effect. I wasn't aware botox could do this. I always thought it just plumped skin

There is reason to every single action we do and plastic surgery is one that correlates to insecurities, inarguably. So once the botox wears off, she'll be unhappy again, right?
