  • @Denny692k7 No, I'm afraid you completely wrong, Weight does not affect the top speed, it affects the acceleration. Top speed is influenced by power, aero dynamics and gearing. If it can do 140mph flat out, it'll do this weather the driver weighs 8stone or 18stone. It'll just take a bit longer to get there.

Ya know what...after reading the comments I just realised I put that...lmao...! Ah well Fuck it...!

  • @james86d Actually, it can influence top speed. In top gear, the engine needs to produce X amount of power to keep the weight accelerating. As soon as the revs pass the end of the powerband, power production drops. More weight needs more power, and also means the car will stop accelerating earlier after the end of the powerband because production drops below what it needs to accelerate. As long as the car can reach the rev limiter in top gear, it will not be affected by weight.

  • Nice! Whatta sweet ride! I plan to eventually build a Volkswagen bug with a Busa motor! Should be awesome! Drive safe.

  • Just to let people know...the cars overtook in this video were doing 50mph when they went past the Westy!!!

  • @Denny692k7 How fast do the megabusa's top out at? is it about 140 ish?

  • @badman2504 Roughly yes...a lot depends on the weight the vehicle is carrying
