Beverly Hills Cop 3 was garbage. Seems like it was an attempt to reach out to a younger crowd almost. And Eddie use to be jiive funny back then. I miss Eddie being like that, but I suppose you have to grow up sometime. You can't be as carefree when you have a family because kids try to emulate everything you do.

The first two movies really make me miss the 80's... Actually, 1987 was one of my best years as a child. I wont get into it, but so many good things happened for me that year. Anyway, It just doesn't feel the same anymore > maybe it's because I was growing up and everything was going good? Who knows? I wish it was the 80's again though =(  On a better note... The first two movies were awesome like you said. I didn't like the third at all compared to the first two.

And I swear if they go PG 13 with it like they did with the last Die Hard, I won't even bother to go see it. I'm tired of hollywood watering down films for kids with no regard whatsoever to the original fans that made the franchise famous to begin with.

BHC Part 3 sucked because Paul Reiser (Jeffrey Friedman), and John Ashton (John Taggart) did not reprised their roles. Ronny Cox does not need to reprise his role in Part 3 as Andrew Bogomil because he was promoted from Captain to Chief of Police at the need of BHC Part 2.

I just saw something where Eddie Murphy said he hated the 3rd one and wants to make the 4th one true to the first 2. I hate that his boss died. I thought he was great, He was a rule cop in Detroit. His name was Gilbert Hill. He even ran for mayor in real life. I used to have a supervisor that looked just like him, sounded just like him, and acted just like him!
