since CR has new ministry, they've disappeared from the airwaves (except reruns)...i really miss the dignified CR worship, as clergy wore their academic stoles, signifying the importance of an educated clergy, and each processional hymn was precceded by a wonderful organ fanfare, in anticipation of a "great service" to come...i think now, it's more like an "unfashionable" woodstock ralley!

@1clarinet1981 I'm the Organ Scholar in Residence at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral in Kansas City. We also all ware our academic regalia (hoods, etc) , Organist-Choirmaster, myself, Choir members with degrees, etc. It adds to the services so much1

Also, our choir members, and even acolytes, etc ware their Hoods/Stoles regadless of what their field is. Like, one of our Eucharistic Ministers wares her Lemon Yellow Hood, as she has a Masters in Library Science

@ewokmusic Fabulous intro and a grand interlude between verses with the al Chamade Trumpet shouting full praises!! Mr. Samuel Metzger is a phenominal organist!! I like how he makes the windows rattle!! :o)
