@cheapinventor Thankyou so much for this vid man, when I did this though, I used an electric drill, as I didn't have access to a sanding peice for the air grinder. Just thought I'd let you know incase you wanted to post it up to stop all these whiney kids saying they don't have an air compressor, the only problem is with the electric drill is the water, but if you're carefull it shouldn't be too much of a problem. This is by far the best video I've seen for cd repairs. Cheers!!!

Thats pretty cool, but I would much rather have heard you talking to me about what you were doing and what was needed, as well as being written at the bottom of the page than hear that music. That was very distracting and I have no idea what to use or what was written because I was distracted by the music. Other than that, looks like you got the scratches out, but it would have been nice to see it put in a dvd player and played to see that it did still work and stuff. :)

the video was not made directly for every single individual. He understood some people would not have all the materials, which is why he specifically listed the needed materials and the type of store you could get them at. This method works but you need the materials to do it. Just because you dont have everything necessary doesnt mean it doesnt work. you may not have an apple, a pear and the mental capacity to add but I will tell you right now if you do it right, you end up with 2 fruit.

If you don't have the items he used in the video. You probably do not have the skills or the patience to repair a disc properly. In that case you are better off paying someone to fix it for you.
