  • beautiful little horse! What a team.

  • Left brain introvert!! (saw the treats!) haha. Your hose is gorgeous!! amazing

  • that was wonderful. You and your horse have a spectacular relationship!

  • Horses really like the treats! Horse looks very relaxed around her which is the way it should be with a horse. Anyone that has truely been around horses learns these things.

  • Those must be peppermint treats. Great video. Some day very nice

  • Your horse is so beautiful and sweet!

  • Really neat! You guys seem to have a wonderful relationship!! 5*

  • i love the program i just don't like the fact that everything is expencive in parelli. you can make a "carrot stich" by cutting off the end of a lunge whip and putting a pom-pom at the end. but other wise--Go PARELLI!

  • That is so cool...LOVE IT!!! Parelli is the BEST!!!

  • Very awesome, only seen this once before (on a beautiful paint stallion!) Nice job! Parelli is awesome, and congrats to YOU!

  • how did u do that ?????????b/c i want to teach that to my horse

  • PARELLI NATURAL HORSEMANSHIP. its awesome

  • How did you get your horse to lay down?? What are the beginning steps to that task?

  • Trust, communication, and understanding. Know what your horse is apt to do. Once you understand their idea mold it into your idea.

  • so cool, one day I'll hear

    "what level's that ..."

    "..four"

  • this is very beautiful. i am training with positive reinforcement with "the art of natural dressage" and loving it. although i still do not have a lay down on cue. but with alot of my horses i can go and lay on them while they are already down.

i am wondering, did you stick to the parelli games, or did you use some of your own methods? i would love some advice, because we are working really hard towards this.

  • Do you have a step-by-step way you did it :) he is lovely

  • OMG great!

He obviously trusts you a lot, but you can also see the look at his face: don't you think I am a good boy? Can I get a treat right now? =p

Really awsome, and a beautiful horse!!

  • i love parelli

  • is'nt that the best feeling, great job...

  • my horse looks like that...

  • aww thats so cute!! he oviously trusts you alot!!!! cute!! my old pony used to let me sit on her in the feild like that!! hehe n then she would get up whilst im on her and start walking of lol

  • wonderful. no force whatsoever.

    he/she really loves you(:

  • this was absolutely amazing. He really trusted you and was so comfortable with everything you were doing. I wish to do this when I get a horse of my own, parelli is so interesting and beautiful. Now, I know when teaching a dog (I know they aren't horses but...)you aren't supposed to use too many treats because it becomes all food and no love. I was wondering if, as he gets more used to things, you will decrease or eliminate the amount of treats you give him?

  • It isn't on any Parelli disk. It is more just a deep understanding of horse behavior and the parelli principles in building a trusting relationship.

  • in which Parelli disk, did you learn that? Parelli people always seem to do things with their horses the safest.

  • you havee a great bond togetherr :)

moree a friendship than just a pet :)

  • Nice horsey! He seems to be your friend rather than just a horse. I like that. Thanks.

  • this horse is ADORABLE. His face is so gorgeous and expressive!

  • haha aww, that's cool as.

  • How did u teach him to do that??

  • I love your dapple grey, my previous horse has a dapple XD

  • Do you have a step-by-step written or dvd systems for the laydown?

  • Hey D,

Thanks for the reply to my question. I am completing Parelli Level 1 and playing in Level 2. Laying my horse down naturally is one of my goals. Hopefully in time. I'm not planning to rush him. I admire your accomplishments. Keep up the Savvy!!!

  • wow that was amazing =) I hope to achieve this someday. I haven't met anyone who actually practises parelli where I live but I've been reading about it and it is very interesting indeed. Great job and good luck in the future =D

  • OH very well done. :)

    How old is this horse?

  • He had just turned 5 when I taped this.

  • Love the video.

Going to have it on my homepage on Sept. 20th

  • I love how you taught him to lay down naturally, :) He looks very comfortable with it. :D He's a beautiful horse too ;)

  • look like my horse!!!

we r level 3 parelli and r loving it!!

    Try Parelli

  • wow that was grill x

  • That is very cute.

  • "yeah that was very awesome"

LOL - thats an understatement!! That was just brilliant!!!! Congrats! Its obvious you two have something special.

  • Hey Chris!! Thanks for watching!
