I would love to see you play the beats assaf plays. Please post a video. And kollias is not a musician. He just plays fast. Blast beats (while difficult) are very basic. Also assaf has complete body independence. That us why I would love for you to play some of the beats he plays.

I must agree that Assaf is incredible!!

However, not all blasts are basic. many drummers in death metal, black metal and grindcore bands play blasts in very different ways.

Specifically, John from Cephallic Carnage will often play interesting rythms on toms and cymbals with one hand while blasting with the other.

Many drummers will blast in short spurts, transition smoothly into incredible fill-ins, and right back into the blast.

I'm can't even dream of playing close to ANYTHING Geroge Kollias plays, because it's more technically difficult, complex, and musically incredible

Don't get me wrong, Assaf is sick, but he's a show drummer (not much in his playing musically, but it LOOKS ballin), try George Kollias, Thomas Lang, JoJo Meyer, etc

Yamaha bears some of the most professionally constructed drums out there. Not to mention their hardware is unmatched, in my opinion.

Although on the other hand, when it comes down to it, a good tuning can make almost any drum sound good.

Pearl's hardware is just as good as Yamaha's. I say their quality is up there with DW because both Pearl and DW hold true to Drumsets/Percussion.
