I just bought the family package, but I have gone against locking my Iphones.
This way i hope the theifs will just put in a new sim (being my phones are all unlocked and JB). Because if you put a keypad lock on they are going to just restore to factory defaults then ilocalis is gone and usless? Please correct me if i am wrong
@starwarsmattyboy - I got frustrated with this, too. Fortunately, there is a TINY TINY sliver of the "Register" button - the one on the right - still visible. You have to CAREFULLY tap there.
iLocalis developers - did you even test that new Register interface???
This is because you should be inside a building. When you are inside a building the accuracy won't be good for obvious reasons... There is nothing I can do about that...
this app isnt THAT good at all. When i locate myself, it shows that i am blocks away from where i actually am. It barely ever gets my location right. I am not going to purchase a subscription. How would this app be useful if someone stole my phone and it doesnt even give me an exact location of it? Good app structure otherwise...
@zummrox That's not the app's fault. The app just gets the location from the iphone and then sends that location to the servers. If you have an issue with the locating then send a complaint to Apple, they wrote the location code
After installation of ilocalis, do you need to reboot the iphone. Can you re spring instead of reboot? Would that work. I am afraid to reboot, coz my iphone might not ever start again. :-(
thats stupid u only get 10 days to use it? then you have to donate to get a year? wonder how much you gotta donate? and did u kno to get the other 2 features, remote backup and remote wipe, you need to be "premium," so you probably have to donate about 500 dollars a year to do that.

FYI - logging into iLocalis and setting it to 'off' does not turn it completely off. It only stops it reporting your location. It still runs in the background contacting the server incase your iphone gets lost and needs to be found.

I'm sure I reply to your mail, but in case you didn't receive it please to completely uninstall iLocalis you MUST uninstall iLocalis Daemon package too. This is the heart of iLocalis and the Daemon that is connecting to the service. Everything is explained in the FAQ.

But thank you for the tech support, i'm off the drugs now so my paranoia has decreased which gave me a better focus on removing ilocalis. But yeah This is definitely going on my girlfriends future iphone for her birthday! Good job on the app man! Im on a small data plan so i am parnoid if i go over my download data roaming usage. So i would like to know :
How much data does this application use per day, week or month if i set it to every 15mins. And if set it the Tracking status is OFF?
That way i know if have to upgrade my data usage pack from my mobilephone provider.

If you google around, it's less than 10mb/month - but you can check easily.
It's certainly not a hog and people on 1gig/month think it's usage is insignificant....

You have only to donate 5€ to get a full year subscription and 15€ if you want to be premium.

u have to enter a username and a password.. then click on register enter the password again.. and tap register :)

either uninstall from cydia (cydia > manage > packages > ilocalis > remove) or log into ilocalis and set it to 'off'
