I've been making cards for over 5 years. Instead of buying templates I've always tried to work out how to do them myself. There are only a very few I can't figure out and the waterfall was one of them - (the twisted easel being another). With your very clear demonstration I now know how to do a waterfall! Thank you.
Sorry I had to give up...was trying to write instructions while watching but as mentioned below...there are too many discrepancies with the measurements you say and write.
I saw a tutorial for a waterfall card on Splitcoast Stampers but couldn't figure out by looking at the pictures how it was attached to the strip of paper along the bottom. I thought that the back piece was adhered, which of course wouldn't allow the waterfall part to move. I was THRILLED to find your video which clearly shows each step. Thank you for posting it. :)
I'm so glad you made this tut.I was just at my local paper store and the class for this was $45!! I think I found the unique save the dates I was looking for :D thx
viewed others waterfalls instructions and yours is the better of them all. I am making one for my daughters birthday with pics from birth to present on the four cards. thank u for the idea. love it and so will she!
I have watched so many of these water falls and don't get it. This one, and the way she explains it, seems simple enough for me. I wish I would have passed geometry in highschool. Maybe it would make things like this easier. LOL
I can't wait to do this for my birth announcements! So much better than standard purchased birth announcements!! The great thing is I can make them in advance and just add pictures later, making it so much easier- AWESOME!
it's simple yet look elegant :) i love it! :)
