  • I dont get it!!!!why this truck stays on left lane????Shouldn't he get the right lane..

It would be much saver on US roads if they did....What is the point of driving left with a pickup truck???? NOTHING...Thats why we've got les accidents and a more social drivers in Europe..I hope Obama ""change"" this....

  • @ovietec010 driving in the left lane has nothing to do with how many accidents there are in the US. here, the left lane on highways is usually considered the "fast" lane or the passing lane. driving in it does not mean you are more prone to an accident...

  • @cote006 offcourse U 'r..Not all cars r made for driving fast,so those cars/trucks shuld drive in the right lane,,Why?becouse they cant breake and pull like a sporty car so there is slightly more chance on a accident,or traffic jam..

  • Was that a cluch pedal squeak I heard at 0:16? I had an '88 Lude and the clutch pedal squeaked like that. Completely forgot about it until I heard it here though.

  • @amalgumjoe Haha, I think it might have been. There are times when I get clutch squeak and others when I go without. Preludes are strange that way huh?.

  • i have a 91 si want to turbo it and have all the parts but manifold where did you get the turbo manifold from? what brand is the manifold? thanks.

  • @scott92242 The person who made the manifold only made a hundred or so. It's called a Ludespeed manifold, similar to a Slipslap mani, which is also a rare find. Preludepower . com is the place to get most of this kind of stuff.

  • R u running on stock block?

  • @bluebearchris1987 Other than Wiseco 9:1 pistons, it's a totally stock block. The car dynoed at 282 whp 253 tq last November and everything is holding up very well. I think the stock block is pretty underestimated.

  • @Hayamate Dude, what ECU did you use for the turbo setup?

  • @bloodreighn At the time of this video I was using a PO6, but now I'm running a P28, both chipped and tuned with Uberdata. The only reason I changed ECUs is that I fried my PO6 and I found the other in a junkyard.

  • that old shaky noise'll never leave me.

  • i actually retuned the car, so now it's running at the same power level at 10 psi as it did with 12.5.

good luck with your car and have fun making it yours!

  • whats the price on these cars what do they usually run for

  • About $2000 for a really nice one probably a few hundred less for a run-of-the-mill car. LOL What can I say, they're old.

  • beauty i just bought a stock one, and gunna fix her up, but not going to run it at 12.5 gunna go to 10

  • how do you add a cold air intake, where do you even buy the set for this type of cars

  • i know you can use ls integra cold air intakes with just a little modification. as far as bolt ons i really don't know that much. i've never been an exhaust and intake kinda guy.

  • sweet prelude

  • boring video....

  • yeah, sorry i can't drift like you. lol

  • love the car but the is not available

  • Sweet ride dude/how much for that sweet Turbo?

  • thank you. the engine all together, as it sits, was about ~$4500... jdm engine rebuilt w/forged pistons, turbo setup (all custom), clutch/flywheel, all that junk. it would have cost a whole lot more if i hadn't done everything myself.

  • doesnt sound that firece.

my 13pds minime civic sounded a lot better ^^

  • it's too bad you don't have videos of it up. there's a reason i kept it quiet for a long time: i don't want to attract attention and i don't want it to sound like all the ricer "waaaaaahhhpppfffff" ferret fart hondas.

  • feret fart hondas! hahahhahahah so thats what they go by nowadays eh! Funny

  • as far as i'm concerned, that's what they are. disgusting little "rice rockets" creating all that noise for no reason. they help give honda enthusiasts a bad name.

  • Phew finnaly a Modded Prelude Its Good To see some real Modders out there :) Other than these Ricers with there 285 Hp and there Wings+plus there no-Turbo engine, Shame on them...

  • thats mint dude, it has great sound too!

  • Sounds good dude..

  • My dad has the Si not the 2.0 its snow white and its in really good condition. He's rolling on 19" Enkei's

  • love the car but stupid vid

  • thank you.

  • Hey man i want to turbo my prelude may be a 92/93 or an 98/later modle how much would i be lokin for ?

  • turbocharging a 92+ is a whole lot different from building a setup for a car like mine. for years like that (h22, must be swapped for a 92) there are full kits on the market. you'd be looking anywhere from 3000-4000 for a quality kit not including a rebuild. i wouldn't know how much labor would be; i built my engine/setup myself.

  • not bad for a 91 prelude sounds strong, how much u had spent on turbo and upgrades itself?

  • it's hard to tell at this point, i keep re-doing everything. but as it sits now, i have about $4500 in engine/drivetrain mods including the forged pistons.

thanks, btw. it sounds really different now with the large turbo and side exhaust.

  • how much its running?

  • 12 lbs boost, i'm not sure of the power output right now. i'm going to have it dynoed soon, though.

  • This guy goes crazy..suddenly his car and him shaking and it explodes !! cool man

  • nice car, excellent, i hav the same car, but cant find a turbo kit, where can i get this let me know

  • the reason it's rare to find an old prelude turbocharged is that there are no mass produced turbo kits. you can check out preludepower . com for information. just go to he forced induction forum and it will answer your questions to a great extent. =)

  • Ok. Thanks, I appreciate it.

  • Also, do you have rough power/torque #'s?

  • nope, no numbers as of yet. i'm now using a larger t3/t04e. nope, i don't have a map handy. i think i may have seen one floating around preludepower before. have fun with megasquirt. that's some real diy there. i guess i took the easy way out tuning a chipped honda ecu. good luck with your setup.

  • Hey! I have a setup that is nearly identical to yours (450cc injectors, .5 A/R turbine, 9.0:1 weisco's, and stock rods), but haven't done any of the tuning (Megasquirt) yet. Do you have a Volumetric efficiency map I might be able to look at?

  • ive got a 91 2.1 si and this is something id look into doing. keeping it basically stock but have some extra power under the hood.what was the total cost for the turbo set up?

  • Gotta love the 3g Ludes on boost. B20A is a good motor. what kind of forged internals? I know you can run 7 safely on stock internals.

  • i'm using wiseco 9:1 pistons from raceengineering. the rods are stock but are very strong. however, they will be getting replaced by aftermarket rods this year.

  • this video is soft.

  • and who are you?

  • holy geeez that thing sounds incredible, if i had the knowledge and moolah id def like to boost mine.

  • i personally have a 88 lude and want to go with a boosted H22 swap.

  • I hear the companies that make performance parts for 3 gen ludes are based in Texas.

  • you still have the stock b20?

  • stock with wiseco 9:1 pistons.

  • Very nice whered u get the turbo set-up?

  • from everywhere, and a lot was custom fabricated/modified. there is no off-the-shelf kit for these cars anymore.

  • luke AFB in AZ

    afb

  • no, it's mcas in yuma.

  • is that luke

  • who is luke?

  • Wow, I once saw two men making out, and it wasn't until today I knew what gay really was. Your movie, mo-weeny.

  • that's funny coming from a guy that has a video titled "rocket erection."

  • you need a clock cover!!

  • lol

    yes i do.

  • i miss my 2gen but fell to much in love with my 5th gen to go back =]

  • lucky basdtard thats fucken awesome

  • it's actually a turbo xs h-rfl knockoff i purchased off ebay for fifty bucks. it was really stiff and caused surge to begin with, but i just cut the spring to a precise length and it works perfectly. for fuel i'm using a dsm 190lph fuel pump, 450cc dsm injectors, and a po6 ecu chipped and tuned with uberdata. i did it meticulously with a wideband.

    thank you for your comments!

  • Damn sounds good. Love that BOV. Which one is it? What are you using for fuel managment?

  • Nice.

I got a beautiful 90 Si 4ws white with no rust.

you can find them with out rust you just gotta find one that has been taken care of.

my 91 civic si also rust free.

link to pics in my profile

  • The 3rd gen Prelude is bad ass; I have one myself. Yeah, parts for them are hard to come by. Post more Videos Hayamate, people love this shit.

  • nice prelude, i always wanted a 3rd gen

  • i miss my 3rd gen... :( but i love my 5th so much!

  • thanks for your comments! the engine is mostly stock except for forged pistons, and the kit was pieced together with many custom made/universal parts over the past few years. preludepower will help you with anything you need to know about turbocharging your prelude.

  • wanna do one up good but can't find any worth doing up

wanna buy stock one with NO RUST willing to drive it from texas or arizona

  • that is sooo true the third gen is the best. But if you live in canada all of them have rust

  • Is that a stock engiene with a turbo kit, because i got a 91 si and they dont make shit for 3rd gen preludes.

  • "Don't make shit" is an understatement. You basically have to be a fabricator to get any of the stuff you want for these things.

  • i hear that man!, i've had to make my intake and my header so far lol
